How to read the Business performance report
Understand the key drivers of your business' performance and how they compare against your industry.
In this dashboard you will find an overview of your business performance trends, benchmarked against those of your industry.
Filters
To customise the dashboard, use the following filters:

| Company | Merchant company as defined in your Wpay account hierarchy. |
| Merchant group | Merchant group as defined in your Wpay account hierarchy. |
Sales driver tree
The sales driver tree provides a diagram of the key metrics contributing to your sales performance, benchmarked against the industry for each metric. The metrics available are:
- Sales
- Cardholders (only available for your cardholders)
- Spend per cardholder
- Visit frequency
- Average transaction value
Monthly sales
The monthly sales chart provides insights into your monthly sales over the most recent 13 months. It covers:
- Month on Month (MoM) Sales Growth: Understand how your sales are trending compared to the previous month.
- Benchmark industry growth: See how your sales growth compares to industry benchmarks.
Monthly transactions
The Monthly transactions chart gives an overview of your monthly transaction volume for the same 13-month period. It covers:
- MoM transaction growth: Track changes in your transaction volume month by month.
- Benchmark industry transaction growth: Compare your transaction growth with industry benchmarks.
Monthly average transaction value
The monthly average transaction value (ATV) chart provides details on your average transaction value over the most recent 13 months. It covers:
- MoM ATV growth: Observe fluctuations in your average transaction value over the last 13 months.
- Benchmark industry ATV growth: See how your ATV growth performs relative to industry benchmarks.
Monthly average visit frequency
The monthly average visit frequency chart details your average visit frequency over the most recent 13 months. It covers:
- MoM average visit frequency growth: Determine whether your customers' transaction frequency is changing over time.
- Benchmark industry visit frequency growth: Compare your average visit frequency growth with industry benchmarks.
Monthly cardholders
The monthly cardholder chart shows the number of unique cardholders transacting over the most recent 13 months. It covers:
- MoM cardholder growth: Track changes in the number of unique cardholders that are transacting with you each month.
