Testing and Certification
Once you've integrated with our test environment, you'll need to complete our certification process to ensure your API integration is working correctly. This process validates your setup by running a series of live tests to see how your system performs under various conditions.
Client readiness is strictly evaluated by their ability to execute shared test cases via full End-to-End (E2E) integration (Either via WEB UI or APP).
Certification or verification via Postman or cURL will NOT be accepted as certification readiness.
Here's how the process works:
- When your implementation is complete, we'll schedule a live test session with our technical team.
- During the session, we'll ask you to run a series of tests. You'll share your screen so we can see the results, share the
clientorderNumber, and monitor the behavior of the backend system in real time. Testing includes:- Negative Testing Strategy: Negative scenarios will be executed by updating client configurations and products data in real time on the Gifting side using mocks patterns. (Such as IP address whitelisting/Invalid Product/Timeouts).
- Log Patterns and API Sequencing: Real time client logs will be monitored and recorded to analyse Client side API Sequencing, payload validation, and debugging against downstream services/systems.
- If you are fulfilling digital Gift Card orders directly by sending details to the recipient, you must adhere to our Gift Card Template & Formatting Requirements.
- Failure Protocol: Re-certification is mandatory if any test case fails or if the client is unable to perform the execution successfully over the designated call.
- Post-certification, the Gifting team requires 5 business days to compile the final report and secure necessary sign-offs from any downstream systems.
- We'll then set up your account in the production environment and provide you with your production API key.
- Finally, we'll add your production IP addresses to our allow list, so you can go live securely.
