What do I do if my Submit Order request returns an error?

A successful order placement will return a HTTP status code of 200. If your request returns an error, follow these steps based on the HTTP status code:

• 400 Bad Request: The error details in the response will indicate which part(s) of your request need to be corrected. Adjust your payload and submit the order again.
• 500 Internal Server Error:Upon receiving a failed request, please follow this procedure based on the error code in the response:
  • If the error code is GC-5555 (or another retryable error): fails to process after the specified limit of retries has been reached, you must stop all further attempts, issue a full refund to the customer
  • If the error code is GC-9999 OR if all retries for a request have failed:
    Do not attempt any further retries. You must immediately issue a full refund to the customer and then contact our team to investigate the issue.
